IPW será em Las Vegas em setembro de 2021 (IPW will be in Las Vegas in September 2021)

A U.S. Travel Association, adiou o anual trade show IPW,  de maio para setembro de 2021.

(The U.S. Travel Association's annual trade show, IPW, has been postponed from May to September of 2021.)

De acordo com Malcom Smith, gerente geral da IPW, esta decisão permite um tempo adicional para que as viagens internacionais de longa distância para os EUA sejam retomadas.

According to Malcom Smith, general manager of IPW, this decision provides additional time for international long-haul travel to the U.S. to broadly resume.

"O próximo ano será um ano para reunir a indústria global de viagens e o IPW será a pedra angular para a reconstrução segura das viagens internacionais de entrada após muitos meses desafiadores. Estamos totalmente empenhados em conduzir um IPW bem-sucedido, produtivo e, acima de tudo, seguro no próximo ano que reúne a comunidade global de viagens ", diz Smith.

O evento de 2020 foi cancelado devido à crise da Covid-19 e novas datas, de 18 a 21 de setembro 2021, também foram projetadas para dar aos participantes mais tempo para se planejarem para participar do evento pessoalmente. E será realizado em Las Vegas, pela primeira vez, desde o início do evento em 1969

(The event of 2020 was canceled due to the Covid-19 crisis and new dates, Sept. 18 to 21 of 2021, are also designed to give attendees more time to plan to join the event in-person. And will be held in Las Vegas for the first time since the event's inception in 1969). 

A IPW tem um patrocinador principal, a Brand USA e, como anfitriã da Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority e Travel Nevada, junto com muitos outros.

A cidade-sede anteriormente programada para 2021, Chicago, concordou em se retirar no próximo ano e assumirá o manto de anfitriã em 2025. Outros futuros locais-sede - Orlando em 2022, San Antonio em 2023 e Los Angeles em 2024 - permanecem inalterados.

(The previously scheduled 2021 host city, Chicago, agreed to step aside next year and will assume the host mantle in 2025. Other future host sites -- Orlando in 2022, San Antonio in 2023 and Los Angeles in 2024 -- remain unchanged).
